Jaycee Park Revitalization Project
The community is coming together to raise funds to fully remodel our city park into a safe, vibrant, and welcoming space for the entire community. This much-needed renovation will include a brand new splash pad, updated fully accessible playground equipment, improved walking paths, new picnic areas, a concession stand, paved parking, and accessible features for people of all abilities. Every dollar contributed will go directly toward creating a more beautiful and functional park where families can gather, children can play, and neighbors can connect. With your support, we can transform this public space into a lasting asset for generations to enjoy!
Our total fundraising goal is $1 million, which will cover the full cost of the park’s transformation. This includes construction, landscaping, new equipment, safety features, and long-term maintenance improvements. Reaching this goal will ensure that no corners are cut and that the park is built to the highest standards for durability, accessibility, and enjoyment. Whether through individual donations, business sponsorships, or community events, every contribution brings us one step closer to making this shared vision a reality. This total goal has been split into two project phases.
Phase One
The first phase of our project puts all funds towards an exciting new addition to Jaycee Park- a splash pad that will provide a safe, fun and accessible way for children and families to cool off during the summer months! Our goal is to cover the costs of construction, equipment, and maintenance for the splash pad, ensuring it remains a vibrant gathering place for years to come. Local businesses, residents, and organizations are encouraged to contribute through donations, sponsorships, and community events, all supporting the shared vision of enhancing outdoor recreation in our town. Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to making this family-friendly amenity a reality!
Phase Two
Following the full funding of the splash pad, a second phase of fundraising will focus on expanding and enhancing the park’s amenities to ensure it is fully inclusive and family-friendly. This phase will support the construction of a new accessible playground designed for children of all abilities, an additional shaded pavilion for gatherings and events, a modern concession stand, and additional accessibility upgrades throughout the park. These improvements will make the park more usable and enjoyable for everyone in our community, and reflect our commitment to creating a truly welcoming public space!
